Our extracurricular courses

We foster our students' talents through educational robotics, music, Taekwondo, English and Korean programs designed to develop innovation, leadership, artistic expression, discipline, and global skills. More than just extracurricular activities, these are experiences that prepare our students to stand out with confidence in a world full of opportunities.

Robotica educativa

At Korean Christian Academy, our STEM Educational Robotics courses are designed to develop essential 21st-century skills in students, integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on, innovative experiences. Through the design, construction, and programming of robots, students strengthen their logical thinking, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork. Our program goes beyond classroom learning, preparing students to participate in national and international competitions such as the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), one of the world's most prestigious robotics competitions. During their training, participants develop technological projects, tackle engineering challenges, and hone their programming and competitive strategy skills. Through specialized training, mentorship, and projects based on real-world challenges, we empower our students to become innovators, leaders, and creators of technological solutions, proudly representing our institution in national and international arenas of competition and academic excellence.

Language course (Korean and English)

Our English and Korean program is designed to train students to communicate confidently in an increasingly globalized and interconnected world. Through a dynamic, interactive, and communication-centered methodology, students develop comprehension, conversation, reading, and writing skills that allow them to use both languages naturally and effectively in diverse academic and social contexts. Beyond language learning, our students have the opportunity to discover and appreciate new cultures, broadening their worldview and strengthening values such as respect, empathy, and openness to diversity. Studying English, as an international language, and Korean, one of the fastest-growing languages with the greatest cultural and technological influence today, provides significant advantages for their academic and professional future. Through practical activities, collaborative projects, cultural experiences, and innovative resources, students develop the confidence to express themselves in both languages, preparing them to face the challenges of a global society and take advantage of new opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our goal is to train global citizens, capable of connecting cultures, building international relationships and thriving in multicultural environments, turning language learning into a tool to achieve new goals and expand their horizons.

Our Taekwondo course is designed to promote the holistic development of students, strengthening not only their physical abilities but also their character, discipline, and personal values. Through consistent practice of this renowned martial art, students learn the importance of respect, perseverance, responsibility, and self-control—principles that will serve them throughout their lives. Training sessions are geared toward improving physical fitness, coordination, flexibility, balance, and endurance, contributing to the well-being and health of each student. At the same time, Taekwondo fosters self-confidence, concentration, and the determination to overcome challenges both on and off the training grounds. Our program encourages an environment of healthy competition, camaraderie, and personal growth, where each student progresses according to their abilities and goals. Through demonstrations, assessments, and special activities, students have the opportunity to showcase their progress and develop a spirit of leadership based on effort and excellence. More than a sport, Taekwondo is a school of life that shapes young people who are strong in body, firm in their values, and prepared to face the challenges of the future with confidence and discipline.

Taekwondo course

Our Orchestral Music course provides students with the opportunity to discover and develop their musical talent in an environment of learning, creativity, and excellence. Through the study of instruments, music reading, and participation in orchestral ensembles, students strengthen artistic, cognitive, and social skills that contribute to their holistic development. Musical practice fosters discipline, concentration, perseverance, and teamwork, while developing artistic sensitivity and self-confidence. Each student learns to express their emotions through music, understanding the value of harmony, cooperation, and commitment within a musical group. More than just learning to play an instrument, our program seeks to inspire a passion for art and culture, developing young people capable of appreciating the beauty of music and sharing their talent with the community through performances, concerts, and cultural activities.
